Refund Policy

Visa Venture provides a money-back guarantee on the service fee for any application that is rejected for reasons attributable to our preparation. The terms below are specific rather than vague — clear refund mechanics build more trust than open-ended promises, and we would rather state both the protection and its limits in plain language up front than have either side discover them later.

This policy works alongside our Terms of Service. The Terms govern the broader contractual relationship; this page sets out the refund mechanics specifically.

When a refund is available

You are entitled to a full refund of the Visa Venture service fee when both of the following are true:

Your application is formally rejected by the Royal Thai Embassy, the Board of Investment, or Thai Immigration; and
The rejection is materially attributable to our preparation work.

Examples of qualifying rejection reasons include incorrect form completion by Visa Venture, omission of a required document Visa Venture was responsible for assembling, or miscategorisation of a visa sub-category by Visa Venture.

When a refund is not available

The Thai Government visa fee is never refundable. The visa fee — approximately 10,000 THB for DTV and approximately 50,000 THB per person for LTR — is paid directly to the Thai government and is non-refundable under Thai immigration policy, regardless of application outcome. Visa Venture cannot refund money it never received.

The Visa Venture service fee is also non-refundable in the following circumstances:

The application was rejected due to documents provided by you that were fraudulent, materially inaccurate, or incomplete despite your prior confirmation of accuracy.
The application was rejected due to changes in your personal circumstances after submission — for example, loss of employment for an LTR Work-from-Thailand applicant, or sale of a qualifying Thailand investment for an LTR Wealthy Global Citizen applicant.
The application was rejected on discretionary grounds by the embassy or Board of Investment that were unforeseeable at the time of submission.
You unilaterally withdrew or terminated the engagement before submission. In this case, pro-rata refund terms in the Terms of Service apply instead of this policy.
You did not attend a required embassy or Board of Investment interview, appointment, or document submission after we notified you of the requirement. Interview dates and time windows are determined solely by the relevant government authority and are not within Visa Venture’s control.
You failed to provide documents that the embassy, Board of Investment, or Thai Immigration specifically requested during processing — including documents in your possession, documents you could reasonably obtain, and any required notarization, legalization, certification, or similar formalities requested by the relevant authority.
You left the country of submission while your visa application was being processed, where the relevant embassy required continued presence in the country of application.
You did not disclose material immigration history during the application — including prior visa refusals, cancellations, overstays, or other matters that may affect or be relevant to the current application — and the application was rejected wholly or partly as a result.

The refund process

Eligible refunds are processed within 30 business days of our receipt of both:

The official written rejection notice from the embassy, Board of Investment, or Thai Immigration; and
Your written refund request submitted to hello@visa-venture.co.th.

Refunds are paid via the original payment method used for the service fee. Where international bank transfer fees are imposed by your bank or by intermediary banks, those fees are borne by the recipient.

Disputes

If Visa Venture and the client disagree on whether a rejection was attributable to our preparation, the matter is first reviewed by Visa Venture’s senior specialist with the rejection notice and the case file in hand. Most disagreements are resolved at this stage. If a disagreement remains unresolved after this review, the dispute resolution provisions of our Terms of Service apply.
